Antique enamel and low grade silver alloy earrings from the Berber people of the Anti-Atlas mountain range in Morocco. (Early 20th century)
These earrings were too heavy to hang from the earlobe, they were attached to a head dress with a hook and hanged on chains beside each ear.
A red glass has been set in the middle of each earring.
