Beautiful Touareg nickel cross named Iferouane (after the oasis town it comes from) is created by the traditional lost wax method.
Touareg crosses were worn by men and passed from father to son when the boy reach puberty. All crosses are believed to be powerful talisman through the symbolisms incorporated in the designs.
The Touareg are nomadic people in the western Sahara.
Their silversmiths are well known to produce beautiful jewellery using ancient techniques such as the lost wax method, forging and chiselling.
